January - Actually not IN Cyprus, but back in the UK seeing family and friends, and sorting out boxes in our house in Birmingham

February - We return to Cyprus and find it cold and wet, with weeds everywhere.

March - We make a major decision about the boys' home education future, and Richard goes to Egypt

April - My sister and her family come to stay for two weeks - we celebrate Easter twice

May - Much cooler than usual with unexpected rain. We all keep busy with various activities

June - The weather gets hotter, we all slow down and the cats become nocturnal

July - A heatwave, a water shortage, and a brief break to celebrate our 20th anniversary

August - A few weeks in the UK, then a warm and humid week back in Larnaka where I recover from jet-lag

September - Another heatwave, the first rain of the season, and a car... with unexpected problems

October - Renewing our visas, touring the island with visitors

November - Preparing for Christmas, and some torrential rain, perhaps easing the water shortage

December - A busy Christmas, lots of rain, holes in the roof, and an abandoned kitten
